Start with the full notice
Keep every page, the case number and proof of notification. Identify the authority, each requirement and the deadline. Under the general rule in Article 68 of Law 39/2015, missing application information is normally remedied within ten working days; special procedures may differ. Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and the applicable public holidays. Count from the legally relevant notification, not from when you first notice an email reminder.
Match each point to its evidence
Number your answer in the same order as the request. For each point, identify the document, issuer and date, and explain what it proves. Check legibility, all pages, name or passport differences, and any required legalisation, apostille or sworn translation. If a document was already submitted, identify its earlier filing so the authority can obtain it when the law permits.
If a document is not ready
Keep the real receipt showing that you requested it, explain what is missing and assess whether an extension is available. An extension must be requested and decided before the deadline; asking does not automatically grant more time. Article 68 allows up to five extra days in specified cases of special difficulty. Do not assume that every deadline or every request can be extended.
Submit and check the receipt
Use the officially accepted channel for the case, with valid signature or representation. Save the registry receipt, date, reference and list of attachments. An informal email or a message to the firm is not proof of filing with the authority. If the deadline has passed or the case has been closed, obtain advice promptly: further documents may not challenge the closure decision or reopen it automatically.
